Mars enters Scorpio

With Mercury stationed retrograde in Scorpio these past few weeks, truths and revelations have been brought to the surface. You may have become aware of old wounds you didn't know you had, or maybe you were confronted with bad habits and addictions that are becoming increasingly uncomfortable and impossible to ignore.

Mars---the planet of action---dives into Scorpio today as well, and with Mercury stationing direct tomorrow, the time for reflection is over. The time to act is now.

Before Pluto's discovery in 1930, Mars was the traditional ruler of Scorpio, so Mars is very cozy here. Mars is in his power in Scorpio, and over the next several weeks you'll likely feel an extra strong pull to explore Scorpio related topics such as confronting your debts or student loans, processing old wounds or grieving the loss of loved ones, you may decide to explore spirituality and occult or taboo subjects, investigate the depths of your own psyche, or just straight up get kinky with your sex partner. Mars can be very aggressive in Scorpio, so if you opt for the latter, make sure you have a safe word!

The next several weeks are an optimal time to investigate further into your own habits, patterns, and psychological motivations, and to make necessary changes so that you can show up in your life in a stronger and more authentic way. When Mars is in Scorpio, we all become psychoanalysts, so put on your Freudian hat and take some notes. Feel free to share in the comments below what you discover...

On that note, if you are serious about changing some of your bad habits, I recently read the book The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg and can't recommend it highly enough. It's a game changer.

If you're struggling with some of the issues that have been brought up for you recently and would like some context and guidance to help you work through it, book an astrology session with me.

With love,
