Saturn stationed retrograde in Capricorn this past Monday, April 29th, and will continue in this phase until December 2020, when it stations direct again.
Saturn is the planet of structure, discipline, restriction and efficiency. He can be a harsh teacher, as he wants to whip us all into shape. What does this mean when he decides to go retrograde? It means his desire for structure and orderliness will be directed inward---towards the mind. Saturn Rx in Capricorn is teaching us to eliminate all the mental clutter, the fantasies that we cling to, as well as the beliefs about ourselves that are holding us back. If we are to succeed and persevere, we must conquer the mind. Saturn's biggest lesson for us all is this: the present moment is the only moment in which you have any real power. That's because now is all there is. Everything else is a distant memory, a future delusion, a mental image, or an outward projection. Since Saturn has now joined Jupiter and Pluto on the backwards bandwagon, this theme will be working in conjunction with the themes of Jupiter and Pluto Rx. Jupiter Rx is working to remove our blocks to joy, and Pluto Rx is giving us space to process all that we've learned or suffered through recently. The only place we can do this work is the here and now. Get outta your damn head. Here's a mantra for you, loves: "This moment is all that I have. I'm so grateful for it, and I'm going to make the most of it."
Many blessings to you all, Caroline
